How Does Installation Work
1. Delivery
After confirming your order we deliver the Ghost Immobiliser, tracker and Driver ID Tag to your specified address.
2. Installation Confirmed
We will confirm an installation date and location that is best for you to have the Phantom Ghost Immobiliser fitted into your vehicle.
3. Installation Day
Our mobile installer will travel to your vehicle and begin the installation. The installation process will take around 2 hours.
4. App Activation
Your WeCar account willl be activated so that you can track your vehicle. You will also be able turn on/off the immobiliser through the app if you wish, or you can use your Driver ID Tag

There is no installation fee for Guardian. We will send our mobile installer to the location of your vehicle at a time that works for youl.
Will my tracker work abroad?

Does Guardian work in Electric vehicles?
Yes, Guardian works in electric vehicles.
What areas do you cover for installation?
We install the Guardian in all of the UK, North America, Australia and parts of Europe.
What if I decide to sell my car?
Guardian is fully transferable to any vehicle at any point in time in (please enquire for cost and process involved).
What happens if I have a question after installation?
We are always on the end of the phone to help and support you should any queries or issues occur. No question is too small – you are given continued ongoing aftercare from us.
You can also get support through the WeCar App on your smartphone.
What vehicles is The Guardian device compatible with?
The Guardian is compatible with all vehicles, as it connects to the internal wiring off the vehicle.
Is the platform accessible from anywhere?
You will be able to access the platform from anywhere on any device as long as you have access to an internet connection.
Do I need to pay a subscription fee?
All of our trackers require you to pay a subscription fee. The tracker will not operate without. a subscription (think of it like buying a mobile phone without a contract). Your subscription fee covers things like 24/7 support and monitoring.
Will Guardian drain my battery?
The current drain on our trackers when the vehicle is parked is minimal (milliamps). This level of current drain is negligible and will not affect the vehicle’s electronics or your ability to start the engine.
How Long does the Guardian installation take?
The installation of the Guardian is quick and hassle-free process. Taking under two hours, we come to a location of your choice for the fitting.
