How Does Installation Work
1. Delivery
After confirming your order we deliver the Ghost Immobiliser, tracker and Driver ID Tag to your specified address.
2. Installation Confirmed
We will confirm an installation date and location that is best for you to have the Phantom Ghost Immobiliser fitted into your vehicle.
3. Installation Day
Our mobile installer will travel to your vehicle and begin the installation. The installation process will take around 2 hours.
4. App Activation
Your WeCar account willl be activated so that you can track your vehicle. You will also be able turn on/off the immobiliser through the app if you wish, or you can use your Driver ID Tag

The Phantom Guard Immobiliser is essential to securing your vehicle. The system protects your vehicle from key-cloning, key theft and hacking through disabling your engine to protect the vehicle.
Securely enable or disable the immobiliser by using the WeCar App or a using a Driver Identification Tag.

No Pin Code – No Hassle
The WeCar Driver Recognition Tag is used as a way of telling the Phantom Ghost Immobiliser that you are the authorised user. Driver Recognition Tags are a way off allowing you to use your vehicle, while protecting it from relay theft, OBD port theft and even key theft.
If your vehicle is not in close proximity to the vehicle, then the Ghost Immobiliser will not disarm – keeping the engine immobilised. However, if the tag is in close proximity, the system will disarm your vehicle as normal.

How much is the Phantom Guard Immobiliser?
The Phantom Guard Immobiliser is a one off charge from £449.99 inclusive of installation.
Why do I need a ghost Immobiliser?
If your vehicle has keyless entry, you are vulnerable to thieves being able to drive away in under 60 seconds. Keyless car theft is increasingly common, thieves use a keyless cloning and relay method, by picking up the transmission from outside your house and replicating it to the car.
What areas do you cover for installation?
We install Ghost Immobilisers in all of the UK, North America, Australia and parts of Europe.
What if I decide to sell my car?
The Phantom Guard is fully transferable to any vehicle at any point in time in (please enquire for cost and process involved).
What happens if I have a question after installation?
We are always on the end of the phone to help and support you should any queries or issues occur. No question is too small – you are given continued ongoing aftercare from us.
You can also get support through the WeCar App on your smartphone.
Is the app accessible from anywhere?
You will be able to access the app from anywhere on any device as long as you have access to an internet connection.
Do I need to pay a subscription fee?
All of our trackers require you to pay a subscription fee. The tracker will not operate without. a subscription (think of it like buying a mobile phone without a contract). Your subscription fee covers things like 24/7 support and monitoring.
Will the Phantom Guard my battery?
The current drain on our trackers when the vehicle is parked is minimal (milliamps). This level of current drain is negligible and will not affect the vehicle’s electronics or your ability to start the engine.
Is my vehicle compatible with the Phantom Guard Immobiliser?

How Long does the Phantom Guard installation take?
The installation of the Phantom Guard is quick and hassle-free process. Taking under two hours, we come to a location of your choice for the Phantom Guard fitting.
What if I lose my driver Identification tag?
If you lose your Driver Identification Tag get in touch with us so that we can disable it and provide you with a new one. In the meantime you can enable or disable the Phantom Guard through the app. Or our technical team can temporarily disable it.
